If I heard his song, I don't even know if he was ever whistling like a real song, but he whistled the same song all the time. If I heard that whistle right now, I would know immediately that that was Pop. He just whistled it when he was working.
He whistled it when he was outside all the time. And I would know that whistle. And that is an example to me of a joyful noise.
I mean, who's grumpy and whistles? Like nobody. Whistling is just a thing you do when you're feeling good.
The second one that comes to mind, shifting gears into like a holiday season example, in the story of "The Forgotten Carols," there's a moment in there where Handel gets to tell his story. And according to "The Forgotten Carols" version, right, Handel is in heaven and tries out for the choir that's going to sing for the coming of Jesus Christ. And he wants to sing, but he's just not good enough to sing.
And in that moment, he's really sad that he didn't get selected to sing when Christ is born. And then the conductor promises him, hey, don't worry, your time's going to come.
