Day 74 Christ Manifests Mighty Miracles to Believers

In Matthew 5:13, Jesus tells his followers that they are the salt of the earth, and in the same sentence offers a warning that savorless salt is good for nothing. Join me in an attempt to be Savory Salt as I share each day one verse of scripture and one small thought. Perhaps this small daily emphasis can lead to greater savor in your life, and ultimately you and I can be Savory Salt.

On your study, on your learning. What's changing for you? What are you seeing differently in your life?

I'd love for you to take a little second today and just reflect on what you're learning as you're going through the Book of Mormon this time. And maybe if you're using. What's happening while you go through these Savory Salt episodes?

Today, as we move from 20% into the next realm of our reading, we're going to read 2 Nephi 26, verses 4-16. And Nephi is going to absolutely continue his plainness when it comes to testifying of Jesus Christ. I want to get straight into the verse because our celebration on the front end took a little bit of time.

Our verse today is verse 13, and I need to let you know that this is the middle of a sentence, so you actually are going to want to read 12 and then 13. But let's dive into 13 here. It says: "And that he manifesteth himself unto all those who believe in him by the power of the Holy Ghost.

Yea, unto every nation, kindred, tongue, and people, working mighty miracles, signs, and wonders among the children of men." This is absolutely talking about Jesus Christ. Nephi is wanting to testify to the Jews and the Gentiles that Jesus is the Christ and the eternal God, and that he does these things. He manifests.

The Bible is a book of miracles, signs, and wonders. Because we're at this point in the Book of Mormon, I'd love for you to take a quiet moment. The restoration of the gospel of Jesus Christ is in full motion.

It is all around us. And I'd encourage you today to dig in, see those miracles, signs, and wonders, and know. We know that they come from living a life that is attached and anchored in Jesus Christ.

If you're not seeing those miracles, those signs, or those wonders, then I encourage you to seek for them. Because what we learn from Nephi here is that all those who believe in him will receive those things by the power of the Holy Ghost. That is a promise that I'm going to stick Nephi to.

That's a promise that I'm going to say, "Hey, Nephi, I believe you." And I want to see those experiences, those miracles, signs, and wonders in my life as well. That's all for today, my friends.
